“Where there is no vision, there is no hope.”

- George Washington Carver

Make It Happen utilizes transmedia storytelling to inspire people to create large-scale social change. While we take the time to fully inform audiences as to what is causing the issue, our campaigns are unique in that we focus on leaving people with a sense of hope that change is possible. By including the stories of individuals and organizations that have a vision of what the future can look like, we provide opportunities for individuals to participate in making a difference for the future.

FOUNDER

Nicole Riggs founded Make It Happen out of a desire to connect people, ideas and organizations to create a greater awareness of the issues affecting the world and to promote social change utilizing the concept of HOPE.  Inspired by the Franklin D. Roosevelt quote, “We have always held to the hope, the belief, the conviction that there is a better life, a better world, beyond the horizon,” Nicole firmly believes that the way to inspire change is by showing people that change is happening - no matter how small it may be.

Nicole’s skills as a creative thinker allow her to develop unique programs to educate large audiences on complex issues and engage them to act.  She has found that by producing multiple opportunities for engagement, more impact is achieved and that these new pathways help to achieve the goals of her clients more quickly. In addition, she believes that collaboration is essential in addressing complex social issues and utilizes her ability to build relationships between like-minded organizations to ensure success.
